What Healing Actually Feels Like
I had a hands-on Reiki Healing session with Laura. I immediately began to feel relief from deep pent up emotions. I felt healing energy wash through my entire body. Laura is a gifted intuitive and healer.
She made me feel very comfortable and explained the whole process. We talked like friends. She is compassionate and understanding. I’m sensitive to energies and I could absolutely feel everything going on. Energies were moving. She followed up with me several times after our session and gave me a charged crystal to take home. I have ARFID which is an eating disorder based on fear not weight. I am never hungry. I have struggled for years with this and been to countless doctors to try and help. Nothing worked. But after seeing you I have eaten full meals and even been hungry… You are genuinely a miracle worker and I could never thank you enough.
You will lie down fully clothed and simply rest while Laura guides the session using Reiki energy, tuning forks, crystal and Tibetan singing bowls, and other sound healing instruments. Most people experience deep relaxation — a calm, meditative state where the nervous system genuinely unwinds. Some notice warmth, tingling, or emotional release. There is nothing you need to do except receive.
What should I expect at a reiki sound healing event?
Yes. Select events and classes are available via secure video call for clients outside of Huntsville. All you need is a quiet space to settle into and a stable internet connection. Join the email list to be notified when virtual options open — spots tend to fill quickly.
Can I attend a reiki class or event virtually?
No experience is needed. All events and classes are welcoming to total newcomers. Whether this is your very first introduction to Reiki or you have been exploring energy healing for years, there is a place for you. You just show up — the experience meets you where you are.
Do I need experience with reiki to attend a class or event?
No. Reiki is a Japanese energy healing technique, not a religion or spiritual belief system. It doesn't require any particular faith, worldview, or prior experience. People of all backgrounds — and plenty of skeptics — benefit from it.
Is reiki religious?
Inner Alchemy offers a range of experiences throughout the year — including seasonal sound baths, pop-up healing events, and structured Reiki level classes (Level 1, Level 2, and Master).
